The Besties

Rachel and Olivia met in 2018 when they started their legal careers on the same day at the same organization and have been besties ever since.

Olivia and Rachel bonded over their shared love of reading, deep nerdiness and devotion to serving their communities. They’ve spent countless hours discussing the evils of the patriarchy and taste testing donuts (for science!). Olivia encourages Rachel to take pictures. Rachel encourages Olivia to book international trips (not that it takes much convincing). Most importantly, Rachel and Olivia encourage each other to be their best selves, feel their feelings, and love each other unconditionally.

Olivia is a New York native whose ideal vibe is cozy “grandma-chic”. She’s a non-profit lawyer and is constantly exploring new hobbies in her free time. In 2025, it was mixology, and in 2026 it is acting! Olivia primarily reads romance and fantasy novels and has an ever-growing TBR. She loves thrifting, watching soapy dramas, and dancing.

Rachel lives in Colorado with her two dogs, three cats, and her husband. She’s a government lawyer who spends all day being a nerd. Rachel loves fantasy and romantasy series - the longer the better. She’s never met a bookstore she can’t spend an entire paycheck at. She loves hiking, skiing, and anything on Bravo.
